Renegade tags are a type of tagrot. They can be created when one SwapNeat ID is used on multiple computers over time. SwapNeat Metadata Studio does not prevent SwapNeat IDs from being used on multiple computers, but it is not recommended, and if it is done, care should be taken by the user to keep the machines synchronized, or to perform tag creation and tag vocabulary management of specific tag vocabularies on only one of the computers used.

in the Tag Assignment Pane and TagSet Tree.
A branch can be a single node (a branch node) or a hierarchical substructure of a tag vocabulary. A branch node is a node that is not a root, trunk, or leaf. It is not the topmost node in a tag vocabulary, nor is it the deepest nested. Branch nodes are usually represented as buttontabs 
in the Tag Assignment Pane and TagSet tree, or are bypassed so the buttons and buttontabs deeper in the branch will appear on the bypassed nodes nearest ancestor tab.
A leaf node is the deepest-nested node in a branch. It does not have descendant nodes. Leaf nodes are usually represented as buttons 
in the Tag Assignment Pane and TagSet Tree.
This is a Tag Assignment Pane setting that applies to Tab objects only. For each of the three tagging modes (“Batch Tag”, “Selective Tag”, and “Single Tag”) the tab will be visited or skipped depending on the mode skip setting for that tab in the current tagging mode.
